Bailey Properties Weekly Blog #6

INTRODUCTION:

As I write this I am thinking how lucky I have been and how fortunate we all are to live in this great country and to have all the choices that we have and to be able to live our lives as we choose. I have been in the actual farming and cattle business since I graduated from Westminster College. Farming in the 1980’s was a total disaster. No safety nets and many farmers and great people going broke and to be honest I was on the verge many times. I always told myself there were some great people in the same boat. I got married when I got out of college and living on the farm never having any money was a memory that I really dont want to relive. Thankfully I started this land sales business which I still believe that I know more about than most people. I kept my marriage together and had four perfect healthy beautiful kids and now have 6 grandkids. Yes, I feel like I won the game of life and I have enjoyed Bailey Properties working with my son, Taylor.more than anyone will ever know.

The friendships and memories will last forever. As we end this year I am so proud and yes most people will say it is because of Taylor we had the best and most successful year ever. Taylor wanted to expand Bailey Properties and we did so by being the chosen representative to a very large St. Louis Company and leasing them an entire floor in Clayton and Taylor was also responsible for getting us a great Clayton house listing as well as other super nice house listings. We have and continue to have record breaking years because we are a small independent brokerage company that relies not on how many agents we have but by treating all our friends and clients like family. It is a relationship business that we are proud of and we do live on referrals.
